Design in the Desert
The swanky new Design museum in Holon, just outside of Tel Aviv is the work of internationally recognised designer Ron Arad. When it opens in the spring, it will be one of only 5 museums around the world dedicated purely to design.
The Israeli-born Arad’s first significant work of public architecture, the building is constructed from undulating waves of raw Corten steel that have been chemically treated to age and rust in different desert hues. The effect, on entrance, is being able to inhabit a piece of sculpture. Or the kind of sculptural decorative object Arad is known for, writ large.

Cool! Looks great, love the polaroids too.
